| 2026-06-24 | The Closing Date tentatively the week of July 22nd. unless extended. The City of Toronto’s Parks and Recreation Division is seeking qualified organizations to participate in an upcoming Negotiated Request for Proposals (nRFP) for Allan A. Lamport Stadium, a 9,600-seat, multi-purpose venue located in Liberty Village. As one of the few premier, transit-accessible, year-round sports facilities in downtown Toronto, Lamport Stadium plays a vital role in serving a rapidly growing urban community. However, as the facility continues to age, significant investment is required to restore it to a state of good repair and unlock its full potential as a leading community and professional sports destination. This opportunity calls for an organization capable of delivering a minimum of $6 million in capital improvements while activating the site primarily from April through October, annually. The selected Licensee will benefit from priority scheduling, defined exclusive-use areas, and the ability to generate revenue through events, ticketing, concessions, sponsorship, and other commercial activities, while the City retains core operational oversight and ensures continued public access during public hours, to be negotiated. | NRFP |
